To say the Class of 2028 board is moving fast is an understatement.

We have tracked over 50 Power 4 verbal commitments just five days into the recruiting window. For context: the Class of 2027 didn't hit this number until July 19th. The Class of 2026 didn't see this until August 4th. The dynamic has shifted, and you need to use this information to your advantage rather than letting it psych you out.

In the Northeast, Boston College is the biggest mover, already pulling in 3 commitments. They are by far the fastest-moving Northeast school on the board right now with Pitt also adding 1 to their board.

But listen to me closely: if your phone didn't ring on June 15th, do not panic.

This early blitz is strictly for the Power 4 types. That’s the top 5% of players in the country. Coaches at that level are racing to lock down their Tier 1 prospects before they even evaluate the rest of the board. If you are in the other 95%, your race hasn't ended. It just started. The rest of us just have to grind.

If you are part of the 95% who need to grind this out, stop acting like a fan waiting to be picked and start acting like a teammate preparing for a roster.

College coaches do not want another 6-minute highlight reel set to bad music right now. They want to see if you are coachable, resilient, and still working while everyone else is panicking.
