The Sunday Strategy

Hi Folks
Sunday mornings are for strategy.
If you want to understand how college soccer recruiting actually works, you can’t listen to what coaches say; you have to look at what they do.
This week, the Class of 2027 recruiting cycle picked up massive speed. Four more players officially committed to Fordham, Vermont, Manhattan, and Canisius. When we analyzed the data coming out of Burlington, we found the real story.
The lesson is clear: Coaches build pipelines. Coaches go where they are comfortable. Right now, University of Vermont has 4 total commits for the 2027 class. 3 of them are Canadians.
That’s 75%. That’s a pipeline.
If you are a Canadian 2027 prospect, your "Strike Zone" at Vermont just got huge. If you aren't already identified through an established pipeline (specific region, specific league, specific club), you have to work twice as hard just to get that first look.
This is the hard truth of college recruiting that most families miss. You cannot be passive. You must understand where you actually fit into a coach's recruiting model.
🆓 FREE TOOL: Your Sunday Target List Audit
Since it’s Sunday, let's get proactive. Do not send another email until you complete this manual audit of your target list. It will save you months of wasted effort.
Your Homework (20 Minutes):
Select 5 Schools from your Master List.
Go to the Athletic Website for each school and find the Current Roster.
Count the Pipelines: Look at where the current players came from (Region, Club, Country).
Are 60% from California? If you are in Connecticut, that coach probably won’t travel to see you.
Are 75% international? They are sourcing differently.
Are 80% from a specific ECNL league?
Action Item: If you do not fit the established pipeline (regionally or club-wise), you either need to move that school to the "Low ROI" pile or commit to a significantly more aggressive outreach campaign just to get on the radar.
Stop "camp hopping" and stop sending generic emails to 100 schools. Start looking at the data. This manual audit is the foundational work that most families skip.
📽 NEW VIDEO: The 3 Recruitment Killers (You Must Watch This)
You have the talent. You’re playing at the highest levels, maybe even ECNL, GA or MLS Next. But that doesn’t guarantee you a college roster spot. In fact, that line of thinking is precisely why thousands of elite players are "ghosted" by the recruiting process every single year.
I have spent 18 years as a D1 College Coach, and I have seen firsthand why unanswered emails and silent phones happen to the most gifted athletes.
In this new video breakdown, I am sharing the 3 Specific Recruitment Killers that are spinning your wheels right now. Stop guessing and start navigating the NCAA landscape with a strategy that actually results in offers.

The Efficient Solution: Join Our 30-Day Recruiting Sprint
Does this sound familiar? You know your player has the talent for college soccer, but you’re stuck wondering, "What do we actually do next?"
Most families "camp hop" and send random emails hoping for a bite. It’s exhausting, expensive, and usually a dead end. You can keep doing that, OR you can use our system to get it done in 30 days.
Our "Recruiting Access" Package ($39/month, cancel anytime) gets the whole engine completely tuned up. We solve the "Big 4" recruiting headaches:
The Level Assessment & List Builder: Stop wasting years chasing schools that aren't a fit. We find your "Strike Zone" and our software matches you to the programs where you actually fit their existing pipeline.
Your Live Profile & Film: We help you build a 3-minute "Raw-to-Ready" highlight reel, and we get you added to our featured profile database immediately to begin active coach outreach.
The Outreach Sprint: Get the exact templates to start real conversations with coaches instead of sending generic blasts.
Access to Me: Reach me anytime via DM or scheduled calls for direct strategy as you execute the day-by-day plan.
Don’t accept "B-League" stagnation. Proactive, data-driven outreach gets you recruited. Let's get to work.
Have a great Sunday,
