Should Parents Communicate with College Coaches?

200 Commits for 2027: How their "Support Systems" actually work π
Steve here.
Last week, 11 female athletes committed to 7 top programs.
Behind every one of those commits was a parent. But they weren't just "supportive parents"βthey were acting as Recruiting Strategists.
There is a massive misconception that parents should stay completely silent. Thatβs not true. If youβre paying the bills and driving the car, you are the CEO of this journey.
However, there is a System to how the most successful families operate.
The "CEO vs. Founder" Framework
In the business world, the Founder (the Athlete) makes the pitch. The CEO (the Parent) manages the data, the budget, and the "No-Go" zones.
When a parent oversteps into the "Founder" roleβwriting the emails, making the initial callsβit creates a Signal vs. Noise problem for the coach.
The Noise: A coach receives 50 emails a day. If the voice sounds like a parent, it's filtered out.
The Signal: An athlete who provides clear, data-backed metrics and a personal "Why" for that specific school.
Your value as a parent isn't in what you say to the coach. Itβs in the data you provide your athlete so they can speak with authority.
Why the "Information Gap" is Costing You Money
Most families are currently operating on "Old Info." They go to every ID camp because theyβre afraid to miss out.
Inside our community, we look at the math. We just added 3 more schools to our "DO NOT ATTEND" list. These schools have already verbally committed their 2027 classes. If you spend $600 on their camp this summer, you aren't "getting seen"βyouβre funding their travel budget for next year.
That is the difference between "Supporting" and "Strategizing."
How to Build Your Family's Recruiting "Command Center"
Iβve facilitated $30M+ in scholarships by teaching parents how to be the Architects of the process, not the Spokespeople. Inside the Recruiting Hub, we give you the infrastructure:
β 2027 Heat Map: Visualize talent migration to identify untapped opportunities and recruiting gaps.
β The CSN # Algorithm: Stop guessing. Get the precise metrics for your Reach, Match, and Safety schools.
β Your Marketing Engine: You don't have to do it aloneβmy team handles the heavy lifting for your promotion.
β Live Strategy Coaching: Master the nuances of recruitment and learn exactly when to take the reins.
You don't need more "tips." You need a clear College Soccer Recruiting Roadmap. Iβve spent 20 years on the inside; I know what works and whatβs just expensive noise. Come see how weβve organized the chaos.
